This beautiful apartment is located in front of the Merced Square in the GOTHIC NEIGHBORHOOD, a place where breathed a bohemian, modern and cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is the heart of the old Barcelona, a medieval city built on Roman foundations, it is one of the best conserved medieval neighborhoods of the world. Sober and austere, didn't end up getting moldy like it passed with other Gothic ones and it maintained their force without giving up details full with grace.
This historical mixture of Squares and narrow streets, many of them pedestrian, make of the Gothic Neighborhood a charming place, going for a walk for their streets will be able to find numerous stores, bars and the most variety of restaurants.
Our walk for the Gotic neighborhood can begin with the beautiful Gothic Cathedral that dates on the s. XIII, dedicated to Santa Eulalia, rises in style Gothic on the ruins of an old church, La Plaza del Rey ( The King Square), the kings' old residence, today is one of the best places in Barcelona to take something in its many terraces, The Sant Jaume Square that was the historical and administrative center of the old city, today is the political center the Palau of the Generalitat and the City council are there. And lthe different musicians located by the medieval streets offer us the perfect accompaniment in our journey.
